When the world around us is in a hurry and overfilled with faceless mass production, we are going in the opposite direction. Originality, slow manufacturing and personal customers relations with the maker matter.

When making FELTFORMA’s wool boots and felt shoes we use the traditional (ancient, more than 800 years old) original seamless wool felting technique. Each wool shoe is made by hands from a whole piece of natural wool using only pure (hot) water. No knitting or sewing.

What happens with wool in felting? Wool felting is done by hammering or other mechanical agitation as the microscopic barbs on the surface of wool fibers hook together. Organic Wool is Magic!

How is something so soft and earth-friendly, also so green? The secret is in the top quality 100% pure natural organic wool and the heritage hand felting technique. Using just a single piece of carded wool, hot water and eco-friendly olive oil soap, the wool is turned into natural and renewable felt material, which is eco-friendly and almost weightless.

The highest quality FELTFORMA wool felting and felted shoes making is not a short process at all. It takes 8-10 hours or more to make, 2-3 days to dry naturally and finally to glue and hand sew the TR rubber soles. Please note that we add and double sew the sustainable and biodegradable crepe rubber soles without any chemical adhesives in order to make the felt house shoes completely Eco friendly. Before each pair of barefoot wool felted boots and felted shoes is shipped it passes strict quality control.

We are in love with natural organic wool. The FELTFORMA wool boot making process starts from the careful selection of the materials.

We make wool felted footwear from the Highest Quality Eco-friendly and Natural European sheep wool, that has been treated naturally, mulesing-free, and with no harsh chemicals involved.

The sheep and a horse - the local farm that is supplying the organic wool for FELTFORMA wool boots and felted shoes making.

The 100% organic wool still has some lanolin left, even a few staples of moss or straw left in the barefoot wool boots and felted shoes, but it is so alive compared to chemically treated wool.

And the final FELTFORMA custom handmade felted wool slippers, valenki, felted boots, woolen clogs, house shoes - all are the real pleasure for your bare feet - breathable, warm and absolutely natural comfort.
