Men’s Wide Fit Wool Mules | Undyed Alpine Wool

I hand-sculpt these open-back wool mules from dense, undyed Alpine wool in my Vilnius studio.

They are made with a naturally roomier shape through the forefoot and toe area, especially for men who find standard slippers too narrow. The open back makes them easy to slip on and gives the heel freedom while the front of the foot stays comfortably wrapped in felted wool.

The pair shown is Autumn Fleece, a warm natural brown-grey shade that comes directly from the wool itself. No dye is added.

Seven natural undyed wool shades are available. After ordering, simply send me a message with the shade you would like.

Why Wide Fit Wool Mules?

A wide fit does not mean making the entire slipper oversized.

Because I sculpt every pair by hand, I can create more space where your foot actually needs it, through the toe box, forefoot, midfoot or instep.

These mules are especially suitable for:

- Wide feet
- Wider forefeet
- A wider toe box
- High insteps
- Feet that feel compressed in standard slippers
- Different widths between the left and right foot

If your feet need more than my standard wide fit, send me your measurements. I will look at them and tell you which Custom Width option to choose.

Undyed Alpine Wool

I use Alpine wool in its natural shades rather than covering the fiber with dye.

The wool keeps its natural variations in color and texture, so no two pairs look exactly the same.

You may even find a tiny piece of the dry Alpine meadow in your slippers. I leave the wool natural and undyed, with as little processing as possible, so sometimes a trace of where it came from stays in.

Sometimes, the meadow stays in.

That natural variation is part of what I love about working with real wool.

Hand-Sculpted and Seamless

Every pair begins with loose wool.

Using traditional wet felting, I work the fibers together until they become one dense, seamless form. I shape the mule gradually by hand instead of cutting the upper from a standard shoe pattern.

There is no factory line and no pre-made upper waiting to be assembled.

Each pair is sculpted in my studio in Vilnius after you order.

Sizing - Men’s US 6 to 12.5

Custom fit - If you have an especially wide foot, high instep, different measurements between your left and right foot, or another fit requirement, send me your measurements and I will tell you which Custom Width option is suitable.

Choose Your Sole

Felt Sole - Pure wool underfoot. Soft, flexible and quiet for indoor use.

Natural Latex Sole - A flexible natural grip layer for hard indoor floors.

Plant-Based Rubber Sole, Crepe Caoutchouc - Natural caoutchouc rubber, hand-stitched without glue. A more durable option for indoor use and light outdoor steps.

Choose your regular size and preferred sole.

After ordering, you can send me:

- Your foot length

- Your foot width

- Your instep measurement, if relevant

- Your preferred natural wool shade

I will look at your measurements and let you know whether my standard wide fit is suitable or which Custom Width option you should choose.
