The split at the front is not an alteration. It is the design. The vamp opens permanently, allowing the wide foot to step in without force, without compression, without the moment of resistance that every other slipper requires. Once inside, the felt holds the foot exactly as it is — wide, specific, entirely its own shape.
Cliff on the exterior — the settled grey of Alpine fleece at altitude, the shade that belongs everywhere and announces nothing. Naturally pigmented green inside — achieved without acid, without synthetic dye, without chemical fixative.
