Every hat begins as a cloud of carded undyed wool — raw Tyrolean mountain fiber, not yet a hat. After your order arrives, we hand-sculpt it from that cloud, layer by layer, using water and friction over 14 days. The needle felted design is worked in during the making — not added afterward.
